Just for Exploration Families

Dear Exploration Families,

Welcome back to what promises to be a great 2019-2020 school year!  It’s hard to believe that it’s that time of year when we all must put forth our best efforts to academically educate children.  As you are the most important educator in your child’s life, we would like to thank you for allowing us to partner with you this year on this very important journey. As your children receive the best possible education when you and our dedicated teachers work together, I am sure that it will inspire them to do their best!  Together, we can achieve wonderful things with our vision of “Every child. Every family. Everyday.  Ready for a global world.  All in!”

Listed below are a few important dates and changes we have planned for the school year:

  • School hours this year for full days are 9-4.  Drop off students can get dropped off starting at 8:50 until 9:15 a.m.  Regular dismissal pick-up students can get picked up starting at 3:40.

  • The first two days of school for Kindergarten are August 22 and 23, both of which are ½ days with breakfast and lunch provided.  Dismissal on half days is at 12:40.

  • All students return to school on Monday, August 26, 2019.

  • NO SCHOOL Friday. August 30 through Tuesday September 3.

  • First Family Night is Thursday, September 26, 2019.

  • Friday, September 27 is a half day.

Also enclosed please find a copy of your child’s school supply list, the school calendar, uniform policy, as well as drop off and pick up procedures.

During the first few weeks of school, we will be sending home a copy of the 2019-2020 Parent/Student Handbook for you and your child to review.  Please take the time to familiarize yourself with key items including:

Again, we look forward to an exciting, productive and successful school year and working with you as partners.  See you soon and enjoy the rest of your summer!
